Imagine running into a random pregnant woman and automatically assuming she is that one specific pregnant woman you're thinking of.^^;

I like how Tamako has become a lot more openly affectionate toward her brother. A lot of cute moments with her this episode.

RIZER • 2 years ago

Just Anime coincidences at their finest. xD

Tamako was a Tsundere all along. She always smile while talking about Tamahiko and refers to him as "Onii-Sama". From that cold look to Loving Imouto....Must Protecc >\\\<

Veldora • 2 years ago

She was a Tsundere, she was just not sure how to show affection, but now she knows, thanks to Yuzu

DragoSlayer • 2 years ago

I still remembered back then at the old home when she tries to act bossy during a thunderstorm and legit pissed herself when the thunderstrikes xD
That's the moment that I couldn't even get mad at her, and even starts to appreciate her change totally!

Ayanokouji kiyotaka • 2 years ago

Well she is 12 years old.what do you expect... XD
Must protect.

Anime & Rutabagas • 2 years ago

Lucky she was holding the safe birth charm at that moment too lol

Typecero • 2 years ago

If there was an episode where they should have cut the Opening theme, this was definitely it!

Mr.Gold • 2 years ago

Yeah well, they might be saving that for the last episode, if they still decided to insert it, then I'll be wondering just what is going through the Studio's minds😑

RIZER • 2 years ago

Giri Giri Safe lol

Mr.Gold • 2 years ago

Well to be fair, who the hell prays on a bridge over a river after a damn earthquake with that much intensity... Actually, that's one strong bridge thinking about it😂

though if they were like over 20 they could look like a couple but no lewd wtf

Veldora • 2 years ago

Uh... I couldn't make a proper joke cause of the manga I was reading..

Hidenshinzou • 2 years ago

ok? dont then

Hidenshinzou • 2 years ago

lol no

I know that Tamahiko will find yuzu in the end but I got so worried (╥﹏╥) I'm glad that Midori is safe and Ryotaro was found at the end.

Whoever • 2 years ago

anime luck here

DragoSlayer • 2 years ago

I think it's because of that charm Yuzu gave, since he's the one that gave it to Yuzu to give to her friend.
And yeah, Tamako is such a sweet heart in this episode.
She's wayyy different than how she was before

Ken kaneki • 2 years ago

She was holding the Charm which Tamahiko and Yuzu gifted her. Obviously since the charm was from the temple out in the village of Tamahiko, he instatnly recognised that and the girl also matched the description.

STAX • 2 years ago

Honestly though, I thought the guy saying "If I there was a girl I liked caught in that, I'd be pretty devastated" was way too on the nose.
Silence would have been better.

Asagrimmr • 2 years ago

Man, if I'd walked 30 ri to Tokyo only to find out the woman I loved got lost and was likely to be injured or perhaps even dead, I'd probably want to die, I might even want to die so bad only the tears of my beloved little sister couldc restore my resolve

Thankfully though I'm just some random passerby

PPGMD • 2 years ago

It was the charm, during this period they likely would be handmade by the shrine/temple so it would be unique enough that the chances of a random woman in Tokyo would have one from Chiba would be rare.

Otaku Around the World • 2 years ago

It was the same gift he gave her through Yuzu, the age is similar to Yuzu's...so ok might be a difficult coincidence but it is not so crazy assuming she might be the same girl! :)

Ger Vang • 2 years ago

Well she was holding his good luck charm lol.

Wasa B • 2 years ago

I’m starting to like that side of her. Although, I forgot how she got close to Tamahiko, sadly.

TeeKayz • 2 years ago

At first she was like ohohho... who cares.
Now after disaster, yelling ni-sama all the way... and held hands summore...

Eyes Without A Face • 2 years ago

It was the pregnancy charm that he recognized.

norigami • 2 years ago

The world was a smaller place back then. The population of Japan was roughly 400 people.

Ken Kaneki • 2 years ago

um hate to break it to you but he assumed her to be one cuz of the child birth charm she was holdin ik its coincidence she was there but still not totally random

Dahh he knew because of that birth charm. That birth charm gifted by him after all.

~YajLa~ • 2 years ago

Headpats are super effective w/ critical shield break towards Tamako

Youtube.com/bideosama • 2 years ago

Well, she got the charm he bought for her

ILUMINADO • 2 years ago

The charm

Judgment526 • 2 years ago

Yeah, I’ve had that pointed out to me since I made the comment, but thanks. :p

y2kv1 • 2 years ago

maybe there wasn't that many pregnant 15yo lmao. her and yuzu are both 15.

LesK • 2 years ago

actually if you remember from ep1 Yuzu and her friends at girls' school talked about getting married at 15. that was fairly normal in 1920's Japan, girls getting married at that age and starting having kids.

Anime & Rutabagas • 2 years ago

It's very saddening to see the aftermath of everything T^T

Veldora • 2 years ago

Yea, but atleast they found Yuzu and everyone else!

Amu • 2 years ago

I would take covid over this any day, heartbreaking to think of all the families that may have never gotten to reunite

What a disaster...

DragoSlayer • 2 years ago

It's really devastating, to be said at least....

Ohms Nuttachai • 2 years ago

Oh. You haven't seen it enough yet. I won't spoil it here but, in the manga, it is more depressing to the point that I really wish some scene won't get animated.

Mr.Gold • 2 years ago

If Tamahiko hadn't met Yuzuki yet, I'll bet he commits suicide😐

Journey through the ruins and ashes

Judgment526 • 2 years ago

They really walked all the way to Tokyo...

RIZER • 2 years ago

Now I think my grandpa's tales of going to the school are really true. xD

LesK • 2 years ago

heck, the history of manned flight is only 100 years old or so. :> Wright brothers did it in 1903... so that's only 20 years before this episode.

of the six or so Japanese car makers before 1925 none of them produced more than 1,000 cars a year... so that's just a bit more than 6,000 possible cars on the roads made by DOMESTIC makers. a few European and American car companies had factories in Japan and those built many MANY more cars per year. the two major problems were PRICE and how POOR the general population of Japan was. in 1923 Ford was making the Model T Runabout model in the US to the tune of 2,011,125 units in that year, each priced at $364 for a base model. in today's US dollars that's $5,529.... from the IRS public history files the average net income in the US for 1920 was $3,269.40 so you can see a Ford back then was easily purchased if a family was frugal.

one author states, "average annual rate of increase of real GNP between 1901 and 1937 at 3.75 percent". so Japan's Gross National Product was growing at an astonishing 3% every year for 36 years straight... INCLUDING this 1923 disaster which basically halted the operations of the entire Japanese National Government for nearly the whole year. the problem was? the population as a whole was 'cash poor'. trying to find actual data on incomes of this period without reading Japanese itself is nigh on impossible so... shrug... it's merely conjecture on my part. not alot of 'Western' historians or economists study the Japanese that in-depth when it comes to their earlier eras, like the '20s. :/ unless you actually physically walk into a college library or history department and start asking folks questions on finding lend/loan sources from academic papers and publishing houses.

DragoSlayer • 2 years ago

Man, you're making me having a sudden surge of memories, of my old man saying the same thing xD
